The name Handsomepretty comes from a 1970’s TV show called Lost in Space.
Dr Zachary Smith was a most annoying and meddling character in the show. He was an odd bod who didn’t fit in and who’s only friend
was a robot. However, a green alien woman falls in love with this odd bod of a man and sings to him that he is Handsomepretty.
The green lady saw beauty in Dr Zachary Smith.
Handsomepretty is about when opposites attract and what each one of us values as beautiful or ugly, odd or familiar,
comforting or jarring, pretty or handsome.
Each one of us too, has our own vision of handsomepretty to apply to furnishing our surrounds and what we wear.
